Todd has traveled first-hand the broken road of the world to arrive at a relationship with God. He was born and raised in Tulsa. Todd has a healthy sense of humor about his life before he found Christ. He says that after completing his GED he spent 15 years serving Tulsa, which translated means he dropped out of high school and worked in various restaurants for 15 years. During this time, Todd says he educated himself on street pharmacy and the plight of the homeless, meaning he did drugs and lived homeless for a while. Things changed for Todd in a miraculous way in October of 2002 when he had a chance meeting at a bus stop with a guy named Ron Babbit. Ron spoke to him about a church family called Contact. With the support of the church, on December 8, 2002 Todd committed himself to sobriety and kept that commitment. For a year and a half Todd would work his day job and in his spare time run over to Contact and do whatever his hands found to do. In the spring of 2004, with the blessing on the staff at Contact, Todd joined the staff full time. He had a dream for a house where recovering addicts could live and support each other. That dream became a reality in March of 2006 when the first Contact Recovery house opened. Todd is married to his wife Dawn and together they raise their daughter Brianna. His family owns two horse sized Malamute dogs. He is a die-hard University of Oklahoma fan. Now Todd is more than a minister for the recovering addicts. He also spends much of his time traveling and speaking to raise awareness of this issue. His experience does not lie with degrees or education but with first-hand experience, which makes his minister accessible in ways others cannot go.
